DBS on Wildberries, or the «Витрина» model, is a sales scheme where the product is stored at the seller's location and the seller delivers the order to the customer. In this scheme Wildberries is only a storefront: the card is listed on the site, the order goes to the seller, and assembly, packaging, delivery and returns are all on the seller. WB's commission for this is higher than for the WB warehouse: according to the WB rate API, the DBS rate is 45% in 6,077 out of 7,415 subjects and higher than the FBW rate in 92% of subjects. DBS pays off for products where the rate is 4.5%, for goods that can't be shipped to a WB warehouse, and for sellers who already deliver large items themselves.
The query «dbs вб» gets around 800 searches a month, «дбс вб» another 750. The most searched is «dbs товары», almost 2,000 times, and a noticeable share of these queries read like exam questions: «что относится к dbs товарам», «отметьте особенности возврата dbs товаров из дома». Below are answers to both kinds of questions: for a seller, and for people studying WB's rules.
What DBS on Wildberries is
DBS stands for delivery by seller. In the WB seller portal the model is called «Витрина» (DBS). WB states that delivery under this model takes from 5 hours to 35 days: you set the timeframe yourself, together with the delivery zone.
The model has two variants. «Доставка в ПВЗ» (DBS to pickup point): the product still sits with the seller, but instead of taking it to the customer's home, you take it to a pickup point. «Витрина экспресс» (EDBS): delivery in 1 to 4 hours, for which there's a separate «Экспресс» catalogue section.
WB shows how DBS differs from the two main models in a table in its instructions:
| «Склад WB» (FBW) | «Маркетплейс» (FBS) | «Витрина» (DBS) | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Where the product is stored | at the WB warehouse | with the seller | with the seller |
| Who packs it | WB | the seller | the seller |
| Who delivers to the customer | WB | WB | the seller |
| How returns work | through a pickup point | through a pickup point | by the seller or through a pickup point |
You can combine models. The same product card can sell both from the WB warehouse and via DBS, you don't need to create a new one.
What counts as DBS products
WB lists products that are convenient to sell via «Витрина»: live flowers and plants, soil and fertilisers, food products, jewellery, cars and motor vehicles, tyres and wheels, fragile goods, building materials and tools, medical equipment, paints and chemicals, furniture and large appliances, clothing and footwear that need trying on, electronics that customers check before buying, made to order goods, expensive slow moving goods, and sale items.
What they have in common is one thing: this kind of product is inconvenient or impossible to bring to a WB warehouse. Under WB rules, some items can only be sold via DBS, EDBS and Click and Collect, for example household pyrotechnics and solvents. Read more in the article on what you can't sell on WB.
DBS commission on Wildberries: 45% in most subjects
We exported WB's rates for all 7,415 subjects via the API (commissions method, data as of 28 September 2026) and compared the rates across models. The DBS median is the highest.
DBS only has a few rate tiers. 45% applies to 6,077 subjects. 35% applies to 751, mostly home appliances, electronics and pet products. 4.5% applies to 484 subjects, almost all in the «Продукты» section and baby food.
The same rate applies to DBW («Деливери WB»): the API returns a single field for both models. The rate can be reduced by 2 percentage points: WB lowers the commission if the order is delivered within 24 hours of being placed.
For EDBS, the API shows 3% for almost all subjects, and WB's instructions confirm this: 3% on sales of any goods except cars, which get 0.5%. But for being late by more than 15 minutes WB charges an extra commission, and if the delay exceeds 12 hours the customer can cancel the order and the seller gets a penalty.
When DBS pays off and when it doesn't
A high DBS commission rate on its own doesn't mean the model is unprofitable. Under DBS you don't pay WB for logistics to the customer or warehouse storage, but you deliver the order yourself. The question is which costs more: the difference in commission, or WB's logistics and storage.
The gap depends heavily on the subject:
| Subject | FBW | FBS | DBS | DBS vs FBW gap |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ready meals | 34.5% | 38% | 4.5% | −30 p.p. |
| Dresses | 43.5% | 48% | 45% | +1.5 p.p. |
| Sneakers | 41.5% | 46% | 45% | +3.5 p.p. |
| Smartphones | 25.5% | 30% | 35% | +9.5 p.p. |
| Mattresses | 31.5% | 36% | 45% | +13.5 p.p. |
| Refrigerators | 18.5% | 19.5% | 35% | +16.5 p.p. |
| Sofas | 20.5% | 25% | 45% | +24.5 p.p. |
On a 30,000 ₽ sofa, the FBW commission is 6,150 ₽, while DBS is 13,500 ₽. That's a 7,350 ₽ difference per order, and it has to be covered by the storage and logistics you save minus your own delivery cost. For large furniture that the seller already hauls in their own vehicle and assembles at the customer's home, that often pays off. For a small sofa that WB ships as ordinary cargo, it usually doesn't.
In clothing and footwear the gap is small, 1.5–3.5 points, and compared with FBS, DBS is even cheaper (45% against 48% for dresses). Here DBS makes sense if you have your own showroom or couriers and customers need to try items on. In food, DBS is almost eight times cheaper than the WB warehouse, and that's the main case where the model wins on commission.
You can work out your own listing across all deductions in the unit economics calculator, and check the rates for your subject in the article on WB commission by category.
How to set up DBS on Wildberries
- Open «Поставки и заказы», then «Мои склады и пропуска», then «Склад продавца».
- Click «Создать склад», select «Витрина (DBS)» and click «Дальше».
- The warehouse and delivery zone are set up on a separate site, delivery-options.wildberries.ru, which opens in a new tab. It may ask you to sign in again by phone number, even if you're already logged in to the seller portal.
- Check your product cards. If the product is already sold via FBW or FBS, you don't need a new card.
- Upload stock to the new warehouse in the «Управление остатками» section or via the API. Only the account owner can create an API token.
Orders appear in your assembly tasks. WB recommends turning on notifications in the seller portal and in the WB Partners app so you don't miss a new order.
DBS to a pickup point: dimensions and deadlines
If you deliver an order to a pickup point, separate rules apply. The pickup point won't accept a product that weighs 25 kg or more, if one side is longer than 120 cm, or if the sum of the three sides exceeds 200 cm. It also won't accept a product without a WB sticker on each item, or if the order was brought to the wrong point.
Processing at a pickup point costs the seller 15 ₽ per product. The order waits for the customer for up to 14 days free of charge. If the customer refused or returned the product, you need to pick it up from the point within 7 days: on day 8, WB will take it to the warehouse, from where it will go to disposal.
DBS returns of goods from home
The main feature: the seller picks up the item from the customer, not WB. The order from the WB instructions:
- The customer files a return request. The seller reviews it within 5 days, within 24 hours for EDBS. If there's no reply, the request is approved automatically.
- There are three possible responses: «Отказать», «Одобрить без возврата» (the customer gets the money, the item stays with them), and «Одобрить и забрать товар».
- With «Одобрить и забрать товар», the seller offers at least 7 dates, and the customer picks one.
- The item must be collected no later than 2 days after the agreed date, either by the seller or by courier. The final decision is also due within 2 days.
- If there's no final decision within 12 days of the preliminary approval, the request is approved automatically and the customer gets their money back.
Requests sit in the «Возвраты покупателей» section, on the «Заявки DBS, EDBS и С&C» tab.
Penalties for DBS
The main risk with DBS is tied to stock. If a product is listed as in stock but isn't actually there and the order isn't delivered, WB fines you up to 50% of the product's price, minimum 10 ₽ per unit. If an order is late, a cancel button appears for the customer on day 6 after the planned date, and the seller gets a penalty for an unfulfilled order. An order that sits in the same status for 45 days is cancelled automatically, with the same penalty. If your delivery rating drops below 70%, some portal features are temporarily disabled.
FAQ about DBS on Wildberries
What are DBS products on Wildberries? Products that the seller stores at their own warehouse and delivers to the customer themselves, while Wildberries only displays them on the site. These are most often large furniture and appliances, food products, flowers, and fragile or expensive items.
Which to choose: DBS or FBS? With FBS you also store the product yourself, but WB delivers the order. If you don't have your own delivery set up, FBS is simpler. DBS makes sense when your delivery is already running, the product is bulky, or WB won't accept it for storage.
What's the DBS commission on Wildberries? For most subjects it's 45%, for appliances and pet products 35%, for food products 4.5%. For delivery within 24 hours WB lowers the rate by 2 points.
Who handles DBS returns? The seller: they review the request and pick up the product from the customer themselves. If the customer returns it to a pickup point, they drop it off there, and the seller has 7 days to collect it.
Can you work with DBS and FBW at the same time? Yes, the models can be combined, and a single product card can sell under both.
