FBS on Wildberries is the «Маркетплейс» (Marketplace) model, where the goods stay in your warehouse, you pick every order and take it to a sorting centre or a pickup point, and WB delivers it to the customer from there. The median FBS commission is 38% against 34% from a WB warehouse, delivery at a 170% coefficient costs 78.2 ₽ for the first litre, and handling at a pickup point is 10 ₽ per item. You get 192 hours to ship, but until January 2027 fast shipping lowers the commission and slow shipping is penalised.
FBS suits those who don't want to freeze stock in a WB warehouse: a wide assortment, uneven demand, large or expensive items. The price of that flexibility is deadlines. Every order becomes an assembly task with a timer, and being late costs money. Below are the rates and rules from WB's guides for August and September 2026, and our calculation of how the shipping speed of a single order turns into rubles.
In short: with FBS the goods stay with you, and WB charges a median commission of 38%, delivery at 78.2 ₽ for the first litre and 23.8 ₽ for each next one, and 10 ₽ for handling at a pickup point up to 500 items a day. Shipping within 13 hours lowers the commission by 5 p.p., shipping after 48 hours is penalised. For a 3,000 ₽ product, the gap between fast and late shipping reaches 2,000 ₽.
What FBS on Wildberries is
FBS (fulfillment by seller) is called «Маркетплейс» (Marketplace) in the WB seller portal. The goods are stored in the seller's warehouse, and every customer order turns into an assembly task: you need to pick it, pack it and take it to the drop-off point of your zone. From there WB handles delivery. Unlike FBW, where a batch is taken to the marketplace's warehouse in advance, an FBS supply is not planned: it is made up of orders.
| What we compare | «Склад WB» (FBW) | «Маркетплейс» (FBS) | «Витрина» (DBS) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Where the product is stored | at the WB warehouse | with the seller | with the seller |
| Who picks the order | WB | the seller | the seller |
| Who delivers to the customer | WB | WB, from the drop-off point | the seller |
| Median commission | 34% | 38% | 45% |
| Storage | paid, by the day | free, except early extra-oversized goods | with the seller |
The FBS commission is higher than from a WB warehouse, but the seller pays nothing for storage and doesn't chase acceptance slots. That is why many sell under two models at once: fast-moving items go to the WB warehouse, and the long tail of the assortment is sold from your own stock. We covered the medians across 5,989 subjects in our article on Wildberries commissions, and the «Витрина» (DBS) model in our article on DBS.
How much FBS costs
With FBS the seller pays for three things: the commission, delivery and handling at the drop-off point. Delivery is calculated from the same per-volume base as from the WB warehouse, with a single coefficient of 170%: 78.2 ₽ for the first litre and 23.8 ₽ for each next one. Handling depends on the drop-off point. At a sorting centre it follows the acceptance calendar, and for pickup points the guide of 24 September 2026 names a price in figures for the first time.
The first 500 items a day are handled at 10 ₽ each, every next one at 50 ₽, and the limit is counted separately for each zone of your warehouses. A seller with 300 orders a day pays 3,000 ₽, with 500 orders 5,000 ₽, and with 800 already 20,000 ₽. So keep the 500-item threshold in mind as you grow: the 600th order of the day costs five times more than the 500th. How to ship through a pickup point step by step is described in our article on supplies to Wildberries.
How much time you have to ship an FBS order
You get 192 hours to ship an assembly task, otherwise the order cancels itself and WB charges a penalty. Within these eight days, under the guide of 31 August 2026, a ladder applies that runs until the end of January 2027. Ship within 13 hours and the commission coefficient drops by 5 percentage points. Make it within 42 hours, and it is 3.5 points off. Between 42 and 48 hours the commission is the usual one.
After 48 hours the penalty under clause 4.4 of the offer agreement starts. It equals the retail price multiplied by the hours of delay after the 48th and by the rate: 0.3 p.p. per hour if shipping fits within 54 hours, 0.35 p.p. up to 60 hours and 0.45 p.p. beyond that. The usual rule of the offer agreement is 24 hours, and the temporary 48 hours applies until January 2027. The penalty is charged on both bought-out and cancelled orders.
We converted this ladder into rubles for a 3,000 ₽ product. A discount of 5 points is 150 ₽ per order, a discount of 3.5 points is 105 ₽. Shipping after 54 hours adds a 54 ₽ penalty, after 96 hours 648 ₽, and an order shipped in the last hour before auto-cancellation costs a 1,944 ₽ penalty.
The gap between the best and the worst case on a single order is more than 2,000 ₽, two thirds of the product's price. That is why FBS only works when picking is built into the daily routine: orders are picked the same day instead of piling up until the weekend.
What FBS penalties you face
The main penalty of the model is the seller cancelling an order. It equals double the commission on the product, from 10 ₽ for a manual cancellation and from 100 ₽ for an auto-cancellation, up to 10,000 ₽ per unit. The formula depends on the delivery rating and on when you cancelled the order.
At a rating below 95% the penalty is double the commission, but no more than 50% of the price and no more than 10,000 ₽. At a rating of 95 to 97% the cap drops to 3,000 ₽, and from 97% they charge a single commission. A cancellation in the first 18 hours carries a coefficient of 0.8, from 18 to 72 hours 1.0, after 72 hours 1.4. On an 8,000 ₽ product with a 25% commission that is from 1,600 to 5,600 ₽ for the same order.
There is also a penalty for the wrong zone: if you take a supply to a drop-off point outside your zone, WB charges 30% of the order value, from 100 to 100,000 ₽. The full list with a cancellation calculator is in our article on Wildberries penalties.
Returns, storage and marking under FBS
An FBS return is cheaper than one from a WB warehouse. Since 7 August 2026 it costs 25 ₽ for the first litre and 4 ₽ for each additional one when delivered to your pickup point, against 233.2 ₽ per litre for a return from a WB warehouse. A small item that a customer returned under FBS is taken by WB to its own warehouse and sold from there on, at the stock storage rate.
Storage under FBS is free, with one exception: an extra-oversized item brought in before the shipping date costs 1 ₽ per litre per day, but not less than 100 ₽. Marking works differently than at a WB warehouse. Under FBS the seller retires the Chestny Znak code from circulation themselves within 3 working days after the sale. A return at a pickup point must be collected within three days, after that it is 10 ₽ a day per unit. Since 1 October 2026 FBS has had a "Fulfilment at the sorting centre" service: WB sticks the labels on and repacks the goods at the seller's request.
When FBS pays off better than a WB warehouse
FBS pays off better when a product sells slowly, is large or expensive, and the assortment is wide. In these cases storage at a WB warehouse and the risk of a refused order from a distant warehouse cost more than the 4-point difference in commission. A WB warehouse pays off better for fast-moving products with steady demand: the customer gets them faster, and the seller doesn't have to pick every order by hand.
You can check your own product in the calculator below: choose a category, set the price and volume, and compare the profit with the FBS commission and with the WB warehouse one.

If you are starting from scratch, it makes sense to send your first batch through FBS: keeping 50 to 100 units yourself is cheaper to test than storing them at a WB warehouse until the first orders.
