What reviews for points cost on Wildberries in 2026: the seller sets the rate in points, and 1 point equals 1 ₽ for the customer. The minimum rate for a text review is 100 points, from 30 in reduced-rate categories. On top WB takes a 23% fee and 22% VAT on that fee, so each point costs the seller 1.28 ₽ and a review for 100 points costs 128.06 ₽. You pay only for reviews that pass moderation.
"Points for reviews" («Баллы за отзывы») is an official Wildberries tool in the "Products and prices" section. Below are the rules from the WB instruction updated on 1 October 2026, the clauses of the offer agreement in force since 1 October, and our calculation of what share of the profit on a sale a review takes. We also checked whether a review for points can be told apart in the public data of a product card.
In short: a review for 100 points costs 128.06 ₽ with the WB fee and VAT. On a 1,500 ₽ item with a 398 ₽ profit that is a third of the profit on the sale. Points go to a customer who bought the item and left a meaningful review within 5 days, not just a rating. Any other reward for a review is banned by clause 9.3.1 of the offer agreement, and the penalty under clause 9.11.13 is a blocked account. A review for points cannot be told apart in public WB data.
What points for reviews on Wildberries are and how they work
You create a promotion: pick products, a rate in points for each review format, a target number of reviews and dates. A badge such as "100 WB points for a review" («За отзыв 100 ВБ») lights up on the product card, and WB gives badged products an extra push in search results. The customer buys the item, writes a review, the review passes moderation, and 15 days after the purchase WB points arrive in the WB Wallet. They can be spent on any products within 365 days.
The audience is chosen at launch and cannot be changed later. "Potential customers only" means reviews are collected from new orders placed with the badge. "Potential and actual customers" first invites those who already bought the item and left no review: they get a push notification and have one day to write it. To start, the balance must hold 20% of the promotion budget in the first case and 30% in the second.
WB has a second tool with a similar name, "Cashback for reviews and vibes" («Кешбэк за отзывы и вайбы»). One item cannot take part in both at once.
| Points for reviews | Cashback for reviews and vibes | |
|---|---|---|
| What you pay for | text, photos, video, added up | a review of 200+ characters and a video in Wibes |
| Amount | a rate in points per format, from 15 to 5,000 | 25–50% of the item price |
| Rating | any, if it matches the text | only 4 or 5 stars |
| WB fee | 23% plus 22% VAT on it | 10% of the cashback, VAT included |
| 18+ products | text review only | not eligible |
What reviews for points cost: rates and the WB fee
The minimum rate depends on the item price and category, the maximum only on the price. In standard categories the minimum is 100 points for text and 50 each for photos and video at any price. In 54 categories, from clothing and shoes to smartphones and household chemicals, the minimum is lower for items up to 2,000 ₽.
| Item price | Maximum | Minimum: text | Minimum: photos and video | Reduced-rate categories: text | Reduced: photos and video |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| up to 500 ₽ | 500 | 100 | 50 | 30 | 15 |
| 501–2,000 ₽ | 3,000 | 100 | 50 | 40 | 20 |
| 2,001–5,000 ₽ | 5,000 | 100 | 50 | 100 | 50 |
| from 5,001 ₽ | 5,000 | 100 | 50 | 100 | 50 |
Rates for formats add up: a review with text, photos and video brings the customer the sum of three rates. Per the instruction, the WB fee is 23%, and since 14 July 2026 the 22% VAT is calculated only on the fee, not on the whole budget. The result: each point costs 1 + 0.23 + 0.23 × 0.22 = 1.2806 ₽.
Review cost = points × 1.2806: 30 points = 38.42 ₽, 100 points = 128.06 ₽, 200 points = 256.12 ₽
Full prepayment was dropped on 14 July: money is held as the promotion runs. If the balance runs short, the promotion is paused, the badge disappears, and a debt on the fee must be settled within 7 days.
Does a review for points pay off: a calculation on the profit per sale
A review for points is written by a customer who bought the item, so it is paid for out of the profit on the same sale. Take the example from our unit economics spreadsheet: an item for 1,500 ₽, a 20% commission, advertising and all deductions included, a net profit of 398 ₽ per sale.
The minimum standard rate of 100 points takes 128 ₽, a third of the profit on that sale. A rate of 300 points eats almost all of it. The reduced rate of 40 points for the same price costs 51 ₽, 13% of the profit. This is a scenario for one product card, not a norm: at a 5% margin on revenue, as in our breakdown of how much WB takes, a 1,500 ₽ item brings about 78 ₽, and the same 100 points already cost more than the whole profit on the sale.
The item price changes the picture more than the rate does. The 100-point minimum is the same for an item at 300 ₽ and at 7,000 ₽, so a cheap item gives up a share of its price more than twenty times larger for a review.
The practical takeaway. For an item under 500 ₽ in a standard category, keep the promotion target small and use it to cover a card with no reviews, rather than collecting hundreds. For expensive items the minimum rate barely shows in the price.
Which reviews earn points and which do not
Points are credited if the customer bought the badged item, left a review within 5 days of receiving it, counting the day of receipt, the review passed moderation, and the item was not returned. Points for one product can be earned only once: five identical mugs give one paid review. The conditions do not require a high rating.
| No points credited | What happens to the seller's money |
|---|---|
| No review within 5 days, or within 1 day after the push | the hold goes back to the balance |
| A rating only, or under 10 characters in a text field | the hold goes back |
| The review is not about the product, the rating contradicts the text | the hold goes back |
| The review failed moderation | the hold goes back |
| The item was returned or the review deleted within 14 days | the hold goes back |
| A return later than 14 days after receipt | points stay, the money is not refunded |
The last row comes from clause 13.11.8 of the offer agreement. Unpaid components, such as a photo the review does not have, come back 21 days after the hold.
How many customers write text without any promotion can be seen in public data. On 6 October 2026 we opened 1,834 random Wildberries product cards: 84% of them have not a single rating. For the remaining 293 we added up the counters from the open reviews response.
Two thirds of customers, 67.5%, stop at a rating without text. The median over 146 cards with 10 or more ratings is almost the same: 34.7% come with text. This is exactly the group of customers the promotion tries to get talking. A review for points cannot be told apart from an ordinary one in this data: in 722 reviews from 40 cards that we went through field by field, there is no points marker. So we do not estimate the share of reviews for points on the storefront.
How to launch a "Points for reviews" promotion and where charges show in reports
The path in the seller portal: "Products and prices" → "Promotions: reviews and vibes" → "Points for reviews" → "Create promotion". Then a name, a start date no earlier than the next day, products, rates and the target via "Set the overall target and cost", the audience, and "Launch". The promotion starts at 03:00 Moscow time. WB advises running it for at least 21 days.
Money is charged in two stages. First the full cost of a review with all formats: after the purchase for potential customers or at launch for actual ones. After the points are credited to the customer, the fee and VAT are charged. The example from the WB instruction: 60 text reviews at 150 points and 40 with photos at 200 points.
In reports this money sits in three different places:
| What is charged | Weekly report | Printed form |
|---|---|---|
| Points for the customer | "Points withheld under the loyalty programme" | line 6.2 |
| Refund of a hold | the same column with a "−" sign | line 6.2 with a "−" sign |
| WB fee | "Cost of participation in the loyalty programme" | line 2.4 |
| VAT on the fee | same place | line 2.3 |
The offer agreement names a monthly points movement report as confirmation (clause 13.11.2, subclause 10). How to read the columns of the sales report is covered in our article on the weekly report.
Paid reviews on Wildberries: what is banned
You may ask for a review, but you may not pay for one outside the tool. Clause 9.3.1 of the offer agreement allows asking a customer for a review in the description and on package inserts, but forbids promising money or any other reward for it. Subclause 2 of clause 9.11.13 punishes such a promise by blocking the seller's account, not a card or a feature.
| Allowed | Banned |
|---|---|
| Ask for a review in the product description | Promise money, a discount or a gift for a review |
| Put in a card asking to rate the item | An insert promising cashback for a review |
| A "Points for reviews" or "Cashback for reviews and vibes" promotion | Ratings created not for an honest review: WB treats them as spam |
| A review reminder, a paid WB option | Insult the customer or accuse them of dishonesty in a reply |
The query «отзывы на вб за деньги» ("paid reviews on WB") gets 1,435 searches a month, but promising money for a review on an insert or in messages breaks clause 9.3.1, it is not a grey area. Ratings recognised as spam are left out of the rating under clause 9.8.1 of the offer agreement. Inside an official promotion WB can also cancel points and stop participation in case of abuse, under clause 13.11.6.
How reviews for points affect the product rating
A review for points counts towards the rating on the general rules. The WB rating instruction of 27 July 2026 takes the average of the last 20,000 ratings over two years, with the latest 15 ratings not decaying. Excluded are reviews where the rating contradicts the text, spam, reviews not about the product and deleted ones. There is no separate rule for reviews for points.
So points buy reviews, not five-star ratings. If the product is weak, the promotion speeds up the negative too: the conditions do not require a high rating. One "1" at an average of 4.7 takes 13 five-star ratings to offset, as we calculated in the article on replying to reviews. A product rating below 4 with a seller rating from 3.1 to 3.6 removes the item from search altogether.
So the order is: first the card and the quality, then the promotion. Pinning good reviews is part of a subscription, its prices are in the article on the Jem subscription.
Frequently asked questions about reviews for points
How many points should you give for a review on Wildberries? The minimum from the WB table: 100 points for text in standard categories, 30 or 40 in reduced-rate categories for items up to 2,000 ₽. Raise the rate above the minimum only if reviews are not coming in: each point costs 1.28 ₽.
When does the customer get points for a review? 15 days after the purchase, once moderation and the return window are over. For non-returnable items the points arrive after the review is checked.
Can you get reviews on Wildberries for free? Yes: ask in the description and on an insert without promising a reward, and reply to reviews. Paying is allowed only through "Points for reviews" and "Cashback for reviews and vibes".
Is the money refunded if no review was written? Yes. The hold for a potential review comes back if the review was not left in time, failed moderation, or the item was returned within 14 days.
Does the promotion affect search results? WB says badged products get an extra push in search results while the promotion runs. How reviews relate to positions is shown in the article on promotion on Wildberries.
